What is gluttony?

In the catholic faith, they have 7 deadly sins.  One of them is gluttony.  In today’s fast-food culture, what is considered gluttony?  Could eating a lot of fast food count as gluttony?  If so, what is too much.

I want to hear your responses, how much fast-food is considered gluttony?

  1. I’m no Catholic, but I think gluttony isn’t necessarily about eating too much… it’s about consuming too much_________. You fill in the blank.
